Amanda Rigell, PhD, is an education researcher and clinical assistant professor of Elementary Education. After thirteen years of classroom teaching, she now helps support and train future teachers.

Amanda and her husband spent five years grappling with eight pregnancy losses. They became parents to their now five-year-old daughter through the grace and discernment of her birth mother in an open adoption.
